Russian Putin Puppets sounds like a children’s TV show. Possibly is in Russia, but we wouldn’t know.

I don’t there are any pros doing this on here, either

Barely any useful idiots for these topics

My point was, if you continue to hold onto this bizarre and long-since-discredited worldview you’re in no position to go off on Russian Man Bad rants. You uncritically bought a whole barrel of lies and bullshit (proven lies and bullshit) and made a lot of noise about it on forumosa. You’re basically claiming here that any propaganda originating in the West is good, while propaganda from Russia is bad. Or more generally: if the West does it it’s good - thievery, money-laundering, starting or fomenting wars and rebellions, violations of human rights, etc etc - but if Russia does it it’s bad. Putin’s “talking points”, as you refer to them, are congruent with Western talking points because they’re important. It’s not because Putin was the originator of those talking points. He didn’t just make shit up and plant “puppets” on social media to spread them around. He’s just very good at figuring out what people in the West are already talking about, and running with the ball.

TL;DR Four legs good, two legs bad.

Well, not under the direction of comrade Tedros, AFAIK. The most effective propaganda is willingly spread around for free. But yeah, I can’t imagine anybody targeting forumosa with wumao types, of whatever persuasion.

Odds on this thread turning into another COVID one?

I’ve seen two consistent indicators already…

Or a skit from Spitting Image (if it existed anymore).

Some take on Godwin’s Law. Covid’s Law would be too obvious.

Already gone. COVID humbug mk 25

Just for the record, he started it (although I’m not entirely sure what he meant). I don’t know why I even bother explaining, but the point was this: anyone who mindlessly swallowed the output of the Western propaganda machine in 2020 has demonstrated that they have zero ability to identify lies or propaganda, or even to think critically about such things. Anyone who clapped and cheered Western government actions (which were identical to those being carried out in Russia) is in no position to excoriate Putin. As far as I’m concerned, anyone still clapping and cheering - and this includes @Hamletintaiwan specifically - has already handed in their critical-thinking card and Western-values card.

Idk…maybe, whoever smelt it, dealt it.

A Russian agent might try to throw us off by such a thread.

Maybe this can put a little more substance to our discussion.

Seems more likely that the only real substance is that the host competes with Tim Pool for $ on social media.

I actually wanted to have a productive discussion about whether it would be possible for an axis of evil to use an army of poorly paid agents to change public opinion in the West so that they can get away with invading another country in violation of international law.
That many posters here have nothing to contribute but ridicule was expected.
