I can’t find a link on China Post’s website, but today’s front apge has a pic of a guard with an automatic rifle standing outside AIT. The caption says that they were deployed last night. According to one source it was routine because of 9/11. Hmm… that was last week.
Has anyone heard anything else about this??
There are hints that attacks against American instituations are planned, not only on the 11.9. but in general as told by one of the arrested Al Kaida leaders. He only started talking recently and based on his information security has been stepped up. I think the embassies in Singapore, Malaysian and Indonesia remain still closed.
