The reason I started supporting Arsenal back in the 90s was that they were the only real challengers to ManU and I just don’t like ManU (I think it has something to do with Fergie).
This is hardly called “kicked their ass”. But it was certainly a great game to watch and a good but not easy victory for the Gunners. Well done.
That was one of the best games I have seen in a long long while. 96 minutes of up and down the pitch good chances every 5 minutes or so for both teams, goals on both sides, very high level of passing and skillful ball handling, not many ugly fouls or disputed plays. Just a great great overall football show. ManU had the better chances in the beginning, but in the end I think both teams were equal. Should have ended 2-2.
