Artifacts of a Simpler Time

At times I gaze back to a simpler time when Chinese was restricted to self-reassuring conversation with teachers and classmates. These gazes are eventually directed at intermediate audio lessons:

I presume nostalgia is a sign pointing to a turn in my ability away from the controlled towards realms of infinite expression. Alas,…now it begins…

“Page not found” for me.

That’s odd. Well, if you go to the MIT Opencourse Ware home page – ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/web/home/home/index.htm – and locate and select “Humanities Arts and Social Sciences” on the left side of you screen, you then will see Foreign Languages and Literature in the drop-down screen. Click it. Scroll down and find the Chinese courses; the material is actually really good. I highly recommend: Chinese I, II, II and IV (2005 and 1006 versions) for anyone at the intermediate level and bellow. The text material(available for free in PDF) – written by the faculty at MIT – and audio – also by faculty – are great.

Ah…I see. The problem with the link in the OP is the period at the end of the URL. Remove it and everything is fine.
