I just wonder how do you feel living as an Asian foreigner in TW.
For me, I sometimes feel that some Taiwanese expect the Asian foreigner to be Japanese.
When I said I am not, I could read their disappointments.

hehe. asians are the largest group of foreigners in Taiwan. quite a lot. Of all the foreigners I know, the foreigners from China and Vietnam always seem to be the happiest/most easy to acclimate culturally here. most of the japanese folks I have met and known here are pretty happy too! but harder culturally it seems.
a relative said they saw an election sign last time with vietnamese on it. found that interesting. I find it doubtful as well. but that’s the story.
