Assistance Needed: Contesting a Contested Divorce and Restraining Order in Taiwan

Dear chat members,

I am reaching out on behalf of my friend, a foreign national, who currently resides in Taiwan. Her husband, a local resident, is seeking a divorce, which she is contesting. In response, he has initiated a restraining order with the intent of forcing her to vacate his mother’s apartment. This matter is currently under judicial review, and her husband is attempting to substantiate claims that she is violent and poses a threat to him and his family, despite a lack of evidence supporting these allegations.

We seek your professional advice on whether there is a viable legal strategy to contest and potentially overturn this restraining order in court. Your guidance on how to proceed in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The only professional advice anyone can give is contacting a lawyer. Only a lawyer can give legal advice.

This is the law office I use and they speak English.

A good advice in general is to record anytime they are seeing each other.
Evidence can help against baseless allegations.
