Hey there,
I’ll move from Germany to Tamsui coming Fall and I dont speak any mandarin really (besides Taxi instructions). I’d like to pick it up when I arrive but I’d like to study as much as possible from home beforehand. So, Im looking for websites, podcasts maybe, or free learning tools on the internet that will get me started in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Any good tools that might have helped some of you? Also, since we’re talking about Taiwan, should I go for traditional or simplified?
I haven’t found anything on this topic with help of the search button, so forgive me if something similar has been posted before. Just link me to it
