The woman just kept saying to look at the weight listed on the ticket.
I havent flown yet so i can only go on what she said. If she gave wrong info, i will be the guy kicking off.

I have been trying to squeeze 30 kg in one suitcase. Impossible unless you are taking books.
Make sure your passport expiration date is more than five months past your entry date.

I had 24kg from helsinki to Taiwan + 10kg carry on,
The bad news was delay in IST airport (Did get to use the lounge which is ok)
with the delay missed the last train South, but had breakfast with Taipei friends, and home a day later than planned.

The delays seem to be a common issue for TA. My flight from London - Istanbul was 2 hours delayed. As a result, I missed my flight from Istanbul to Turkey. Had to wait 24 hours for the next one. We ended up in Double Tree by Hilton hotel.
Not sure what happened to TA but their customer service has deteriorated over the past years. There were a lot of people coming to the hotel because of their missed/delayed flights.
I had 30kg London-Istanbul-Taipei. Could spread it to two suitcases.

Hotel, transfer to the hotel including breakfast, lunch, dinner and transfer back to the airport was provided by TA.
