You need a reservation for most bars.

Errr…not really. I don’t think I’ve ever made a reservation for a bar, in Taipei or elsewhere, but I suspect we may have different ideas/preferences of what constitutes a good bar.

Yeah the food is good and the cocktails are strong.

Probably not on weekdays, but on Friday/Saturday night it’s usually necessary or you wouldn’t have a seat at all.
