Why not dump those Aussie players from balmy November Australia to freezing November Nagoya just for kicks.

So the rules were changed late 2022. Bases got bigger. Base running is now awarded more than before. When rules change, the game changes with it, giving us the Brewers of the past couple of years.
So Ngayaw Age’ had his farewell game a few weeks ago. Most of the star players of the late 2000s and early 2010s have retried. Despite almost always delivering at the plate, Ngayaw had his up and downs off the field, like getting into a car accident that injured his knee, or being vocal about establishing the union, or being vocal about how he didn’t like his American manager, or tackling a first-base ump because he didn’t like a call… I guess that last one happened on the field.
Despite all that, he is dedicated to the game and his family, and really elevated the baseball environment in Taiwan. From helping to establish the union, to choosing to be the first player to actually become a free agent, to helping Indigenous little leaguers, and all the times he flexed his bat at international tournaments to reignite fans’ passion for baseball.
Wang Po-jung was decent the first year he came back to play for the Hawks. So far this season, he’s hitting .246…
