Where can I go to learn some basic Mandarin? As with many expats here in Taipei, I teach in the evenings so weekday mornings or early afternoons are preferred. I don’t want to sign up for a heavy 6 month course, just want to invest a little time to learn the basics, perhaps meet some other expats, etc…
