From AI:
To buy tickets for the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL) Finals, you can purchase them directly through the host team’s designated official ticketing platform (usually KKTIX or FamiTicket). Because the Finals are a “home-and-away” series, you will need to buy tickets from the specific team hosting the game.
Here is the step-by-step guide to doing it in English:
1. Wait for the Matchups and Schedule
The TPBL Finals schedule (typically a best-of-seven series) will be announced following the playoffs. Check the TPBL Official Website or their Taiwan Professional Basketball League Instagram for dates, locations, and hosting teams.
2. Locate the Right Ticketing Platform
Depending on which team is hosting the specific Finals game, they will use either KKTIX or FamiTicket:
- For KKTIX: Navigate to the event page (e.g., KKTIX event pages for the New Taipei Kings) and click on the “Get Ticket” button.
- For FamiTicket: Select the hosting team’s Finals event page (e.g., Kaohsiung Aquas Finals games).
I’m still working on this but when I search for those platforms, they show me the tickets for the previous year’s finals. So I figured I would check here in case anyone who has attended in the past has any suggestions.
I went to a Mars game a while ago. I think the quality of play is way below the NBA, but the atmosphere is OK.
Haven’t been to a game at that venue and haven’t bought tickets before so can’t answer your questions directly, but maybe the following will be of some use.
I’ve been to several TPBL games over the past few months, Hsinchu Lioneers games in Chupei. I’m a big hoops fan but had never been to a pro game here; a while back I happened to meet one of the players, and he started hooking me up with tickets.
I was at game 3 of their 5-game series against the Dreamers last Thursday, heckuva game, Lioneers came from like 16 down in the 4th to tie it at 106 with under 2 minutes to go, then ran out of gas and lost. The place was really charged up, especially during the comeback, surprisingly electric. At the Chupei arena the lower levels were full but there was plenty of room in the upper level; our freebies were kind of up in the corner but once the game started everyone moved towards center court and no one bothered us.
Not knowing what ticket prices are like, or the situation in that venue, I have no recommendation except, maybe watch game 1 on TV and decide based on that. Compared to the regular season games there was 10 times more energy in the place, so the Finals should be worth checking out.
(Also, based on what I’ve seen, the Dreamers are gonna win the series.)
Thank you for the insight
I found a photo of the venue - Xinzhuang Gymnasium – the KKTIX webpage for the New Taipei Kings shows the ticket prices. I may try to buy them at a FamilyMart

Below are the prices and I mapped them on to the photo above
Interesting … I was wondering what people were paying to sit courtside or down front.
I doubt that those upper level (C) seats come anywhere close to selling out, meaning you could sit pretty much anywhere you want in that section … And these arenas aren’t very big, even in C you’re not that high up, I actually prefer to have a little higher view of the court (not to mention some elbow room) … So unless you need to impress a date or something, I’d be inclined to just buy the cheap seats.
First two games are in Taichung, so you’ll have a chance to watch on TV first before buying.
My objective is to take my teenage son along. He isn’t very much into sports but we had a really good time watching a couple of baseball games last year. He knows far more friends who play basketball at his middle school. So I suggested maybe inviting a couple buddies along and we take in the game just before the season closes out – that invitation will make a lot more sense (cents) if the view in section C is indeed pretty good. Thanks for the tip.
