šŸ€ Basketball - Brittney Griner released in swap

Whatever, there was nothing she could do to either make this trade happen or not happen. Anyway, this guyā€™s been sitting on his ass for 15 years. Iā€™m sure events have passed him long by by now.

A stoner for an arms dealer. Yeah an even-steven trade, or as one US senior admin official said Thursday, This was not a situation where we had a choice of which American to bring home. It was a choice between bringing home one particular American - Brittney Grinder - or bringing home none.

Or, maybe US govt negotiation skills are shit now.

Definitely shit. Couldnā€™t even get Germany to release one guy. Pathetic.

So Russia wants their assassin back. Negotiators arenā€™t wizards, you know. Russia isnā€™t negotiating on this because they want to give everyone good feels. They donā€™t have to do it all, and why should they be inclined to at the moment?
