I am always wildly entertained by this guy. But I’ve never seen him reach out to inmates before. It is sad to hear these guys are in there for decades…one guy just says, “I’m in a here for a loong time.” They’ll be talking about this for a while

Actually The Professor visits inmates fairly regularly. He’s a real neat guy.
That was a while ago. He’s a Christian, so not surprised he’s doing this.
Recently he had a very nasty ankle injury and did only tell his fans a year later, in the meantime posting as usual.
He’s been in Taiwan before, btw.
That was pretty cool. I’ve been watching him for years, he must be getting a bit older and losing a step or three. These great athletes, even when they’re not the highest paid professionals, still only have a short shelf life.
I grew up on those And1 mixtapes. Love this guy, and this is the kind of thing we need besides prison reform legislation. Stop the cycle of these guys going in and out.
Coming back to the prison thing. I guess it kind of passed me by that he was working through a Christian outreach program…the woman that met him I guessed was the warden…wasn’t really paying attention at that point.
Hopefully it motivate some of the guys to improve their other skillsets while they have the opportunity, education and job skills training and self awareness. It’s just cool to see someone who could just spend all his time flying with the celeb athletes come down to the ground to provide a boost to those who need a little sunshine.
Sometimes, people just need someone to give a shit about them. Something most of them probably rarely had.
