Screw the typhoon, I say we play. We can call it “Extreme Hoops” and tour the World looking for the nastiest weather to play in. I could host the “Blizzard in Maine” session.

TIME: 1:30pm (meet at YongAn Market MRT station - Orange line at 1:15pm)

Forumosa Hoopsters officially kicked off this afternoon! It was great running :bravo: :bravo:

We had enough for 4v4 at the ZhongHe No. 4 Park. Weather was great and a lot of sweaty balls were in play. (:wink: for the Forumosa Cheerleader squad). The guys are still playing as I type.

DETAILS:

There’s only one ball game I’m interested in and it requires the use of two balls, but just FYI, there’s a nice basketball court right where I park my car in Bitan – and it’s covered, so weather isn’t so much of an issue. Never seems to get too busy, from what I’ve seen.

hey… guys, could you count me in?
I am seriously about playing it, but not to be a cheerleader only.
Recently, I had a chance to play basketball with my niece and nephew and found its really my favorite sport. Just I am not as energetic as before. I used to be a good player at school, though it seems to be a long time ago.

A short Taiwanese woman.

edit: Just found I cannot go on Saturdays. Other days would be okay.

I also noticed last night that the court near me is sometimes floodlit as well as being covered.

Definitely welcome to join up. However, right now, I think we’re all set for Saturday afternoon as the best time. If there’s another time, we’ll announce it here and let everyone know. Hope you can make it some time :slight_smile:.

NOTE: This week, smerf will be helping me organize this Saturday’s hoops play. We had one casualty – JB is out with some seriously bad blisters. I’ll be out of town Saturday but we’ll still have enough for 3 v 3. So hoop it up! :sunglasses:

This saturday I have to attend a wedding engagement party down in middle TW somewhere. Then Sunday is gamer’s club :frowning:

I can’t make it Saturday. I’ll be doin’ the Christmas thing all day. Sunday sounds ok.
