NTTU preferred or anywhere around Taipei…
No serious rules during the game, but i don’t bite, so don’t worry.
but if u do bite, please do tell, then we’ll make some serious rules,

The No 4. Park is a place that’s available. Near the Yong An Market MRT station. Last weekend, the day time there, it wasn’t too crowded.

There are others near the universities but am not so familiar with that. I’d like to get a TaipeiHoopsDream thing going too … one day.

Ok. I’ll check the No. 4 Park this weekend and get back to the thread. Then try to get a few people to play here. No. 4 Park is next to the Yong An Market MRT station so pretty convenient.

I’m down with hoops this weekend. Sunday afternoon is best for me, or Friday night. Offhand I’ll throw out 4 pm on Sunday and see who’s with it. I’m just throwing out a time to get things going. I’m fairly flexible, but I can’t play after 2 this Saturday.
As for the league, I played one season with Taipei Hoop Dreams. It’s well organised, but I didn’t have the best experience there. It all comes down to your roster. I’d say we had the upper hand as far as individual skills. But we had poor turnouts, playing a few games with no subs, and had no chemistry because we had never played together before. Division 2 (out of 4) was quite competitive. It was typical Asian, constant fast breakin’ , coast to coast basketball. I’m all for it when you have subs, but it ran us silly. If you’re serious about it, make sure you have the numbers to go up against a 10 player local roster with non stop runners.

I’m shooting to get a 3v3 going this Saturday at 10:30am, Zhong He No. 4 Park. I’m wondering if people can usually make Saturday 1:30pm or 2pm as the normal hoop time?

I can bring another to play this Sat at 10:30am.

Need someone who can bring a ball.

Ok, I just looked at the Central Weather Bureau website and it’s predicting some rain :fume: In hopes that the weather will improve later, let’s start at 11:00am. I can bring 2 people. So there’s 3 committed Saturday players.

Hopefully we can get 3 more committed players for the Zhong He No.4 Forumosa Hoop-it-up club :slight_smile:

I figured as much, nasty, crappy Taiwan weather!! But it’s cool, couple of more hours of sleep for me!

I was so looking forward to watching bball game (or maybe any of you are kind that i can maybe go for one or two games … because i am not prof… i can only play for not serious kind…but i really love bball…and i suck)
And since this weekend, i can finally no more working overhours…please count me in and i’ll be there for the bbal and also can bring ball there.

Too bad about the weather.

But gives us some time to get people together and a place. I found another person to join our group to play and there are two places we can do it, Da-An Park and Zhong He No. 4 Park.

Meet: 1:15pm at the MRT station for pick up.
