Yes, the Philippines is for the most part. But so is Poland, Italy, ect and seems you easily but condoms there. It seems its part of the reason the Philippines had more (much more than Taiwan) STD’s .
from the linko:
STDs in the Philippines statistics published by the WHO show that more than a million people in the Philippines from ages 15 to 49 contracted STDs. This makes STDs in the Philippines a persistent and endemic health threat.
Anyways, Taiwanese can learn from the data, and keep safe.
Unfortunately definitely not the case in the past. I did talk to many people between 16 and 40 about stuff like this over the last 15 or so years (no, not just people I dated). My impression is that knowledge about STDs and condoms is extremely low. Hopefully you are referring to the current situation, meaning it has improved a lot… but at least in the recent past it was extremely bad.
Well in some cases people know, but shy to talk even to lovers. Women to women there is more talk like why Man do not like condoms and why man does let the female have climax, in part they fear make the man mad.
But yes, its better now than before I think. I posted some links that some company do more on sex& gener discussion and rights that is more open to talk about https://tw.forumosa.com/t/the-tsmc-thread
