Hi =) I’d like to go to a beach or maybe somewhere where one could go on a boat/sailing/yacht ride…I live in central west Taiwan (Douliu/Chiayi) if someone knows somewhere that’s not too far out of the way, let me know
Does that even exist in Taiwan? I’ve never heard any local talk about boating/sailing/yachting, so I’m curious about this.

I’ve heard about snorkeling…I was invited to a cruise party in Taipei last year but didn’t go so maybe in the future…=)
I do plenty of diving around Taiwan… if you’re interested in that, there should be a dive group/club in your city you could hook up with.
I know of divers who charter vessels for boat dives, so I’m sure you could do the same if you just wanted to cruise around a little… failing that just take the ferry to one of the other islands such as Lanyu…
Take the Ferry or fly to Penghu from Chiayi airport. Beat beaches in Taiwan.
