I was going to put this in the “Most whack thing I ever saw in Taiwan” section, but couldn’t find it. Then I thought of this thread. So…
Today I saw a woman walking a female poodle. The poodle urinated. The woman waited, then pulled out some toilet paper and proceeded to wipe the poodle. (My dogs always just licked themselves clean!)
And then there’s this article about two Taiwanese in South Africa, who forced (at gunpoint) their teenaged maid to get down on her hands and knees and submit to being raped by their dog.
In Taiwan???

Rampant wild boar surprises couple in bed
BERLIN (Reuters) - A rampaging wild boar wrecked an elderly German couple’s afternoon nap when it broke into their house and leapt into bed with them before biting the man and fleeing, police have said.
“The boar expended considerable criminal energy in committing this act,” said Ute Bort, spokeswoman for police in Minden-Luebbecke in western Germany.
Eyewitnesses told police the boar crashed through the glass door of the apartment building at high speed in Espelkamp before ramming open the couple’s front door and leaving a trail of its blood in the unscheduled tour of their ground-floor apartment.
Police and local authorities conducted a search but gave up after no trace could be found of the errant swine, who they described as “of medium stature and build”. The 71-year-old man was not seriously injured.

Funny, one of my former students emailed me today from Taiwan and told me about this. seems the newspaper called TAIWAN TIMES, a Chinese language paper, ran a front page color photo of a horse fucking the shit out of a gorgeous babe. on the front page. to illustrate the article about Ms Ho and the infamous website of course. Can anyone post a link to that front page photo. Of course, the stud’s pecker was mosaiced out, my student told me SMILE.

By saying that, if you mean “beast love” only happens in Taiwan, then you got it wrong. Not to say that sexual intercourse between animals and humans never happened in Taiwan, but the hyperlink at the website of the Center for Study of Sexuality is an oversea website, and all the pictures shown on the hyperlink are about animals and foreigners.
Whether it is appropriate to put a hyperlink of that on the home page of the Center’s website may be a legal+academic issue, but this incident did trigger off fierce debates about sex between animals and human beings. Some of those arguments are interesting!!!
In short, some argue that beast love has long existed in human history and has been one of the research topics in sexology although it may sound weird and beyond our imagination. So it is understandable to incorporate intercourse between animals and human beings into the academic research system, just like bloody and disgusting surgical images are necessary materials for medical students. Also, people who take this side question that society usually unconditionally supports homogeneous (we-group) sexual behavior but suppresses or declares war on heterogeneous sexual right.
On the other hand, some think those pictures per se are not right or wrong; instead, they just demonstrate facts used as research materials in sexology. However, sex is not an absolute human right that should not be controlled in any way. From the viewpoint of animal protection, the pain and torture suffered by animals because of human beings should be uncovered and boycotted. How can an animal “agree” or not be abused to have sex with a human being, just like how can a 5-year-old kid “agree” with an adult’s sex request? That’s why we condemn pedophilia. Not all the human behaviors involved with animals are justifiable. People who take this side are concerned about abuse and hurt on animals caused by human sexual behavior. They think beast love only manifests typical human-centricism.
What I meant was that only in Taiwan would a center for sexuality have a hyperlink to a bestiality website. This would never happen in a western country. I’m also very doubtful that it would happen anywhere lese in Asia.
I’m also pissed off that the follow up article uses my IP “Beast Love” for his article without properly giving credit to the originator of the name, me.
