What kind of benefits can the foreigner kids get in Taiwan if their mother is employed, and they are APRC holders?
kids’ subsidy?
I’ve seen a post from a long time; however, I can’t remember exactly what they’d mentioned.
TIA
Unless their father is a citizen and/or the kids are citizens, then nothing. Nothing that adults don’t get, that is. The baby bonuses and tuition subsidies and anything else are only for those with household registration, which foreigners don’t have unless they are married to a local.
However, there might be city/county level benefits that I don’t know about if you live outside of Taipei.
Thank you.
Because you’re employed, I think you can get benefits from Labor Insurance:
-
2 months salary when your child is born that is called Maternity Benefit 生育給福

6 months 80% salary when you take leave without pay that is called Parental Leave Allowance 育嬰留職停薪
