Does anybody have any experience sending via courier a bicycle from the UK to Taiwan?

Not much experience with shipping from UK to Taiwan, but generally, if you are taking EVA or China airlines to Taiwan, I would advise checking in your bike as one of your luggage. I know EVA doesn’t really fuss whether it’s a bike bag or a bike box. China Airlines might give you a fuss as it may be oversized baggage to them.
If you are going to use courier, shipping rates right now are very very expensive. Depending on where you are, there’s a possibility that economy services are not available and you’re stuck using express/priority.

That’s if your bike hasn’t been stolen in the U.K. before you have a chance to ship!
