I need to convert some AVI files to MPEG for burning to CD.
Can anyone recommend a simple, lightweight software download that even an idiot like me can use to do the job?

If you have an ATI video card (X Series ) you can use the Avivo software that comes with the Catalyst software…it’s decent and free.
