You can make your own at home easily, including creative flavors with whatever you have in the kitchen. I recently made Kristy Kreme donuts - whisky and mango - cinnamon.

Couple of quarts in the evening really make your day in this weather!

Although I enjoy making most of my food. I like going to a ice cream shop to eat ice cream. Or else I’ll just eat a tub in one sitting.

Venchi ice cream at Lalaport is awesome. Top 1 or 2 for me. A bit pricey and I almost left when I saw the prices, thinking it was expensive for no reason (like that Creamy ice cream, or whatever it’s called). But there’s a reason for the high prices at Venchi. It’s really special.

thanks for supporting my home region brand, but that still industrial. A good one, but still industrial.

this is still the closest I can get to Italian gelato experience like home here. It was already shared above by a few, Albanian guy who lived long in Italy and learnt gelato there (Genoa to be precise), opened shop in the ground floor of his missus’ family home. lower prices since no rent, generous portions, love the flavour of the classics.

another good, but VERY pricey, semi-artisanal (but still a chain) gelato is this brand from Liguria:

Price has gone up since, its 150 now for a bowl.

It was damn good though, one of the best ice creams ive had.. which might be due to the heat but it was really good.
