90 seconds is a long time. I could pump it faster with a large manual bike pump. But those little compressor tends to be a bit loud.

They got smaller hand pump out there, but it shouldnā€™t take more than a minute to inflate your bike tire. If itā€™s punctured that dinky little electric pump isnā€™t going to help you.

Thatā€™s why you carry a spare inner tube. Dinky little is what I want when it comes to repair tools.

How many times have you punctured riding in Taiwan? Iā€™ve had very few punctures. Mostly slow punctures that I noticed the day after or so. In other words, I fixed them at home. Only once I had to use my minipump. I also had to walk from Guandu because I punctured my old MTB while riding with my daughter and I didnā€™t have anything to repair it.

The minipump I carry is lighter and I have used it a couple of times in the last few years. One of them it wasnā€™t even my puncture.

I have a friend who has one of those, with screen for pressure readings. It feels as heavy as a brick.

Twice over the past 3 or 4 years. Didnā€™t have tools either time. Had to walk my bike to a bike shop and have it repaired. Thatā€™s very infrequent given how much I ride.

It must be a model that can pump up motorcycle tires. Iā€™d get a mini one thatā€™s designed for bicycle tires and basketballs. It weighs around 100g.

Sounds like the Xiaomi one. Not great for day to day use, but awesome when traveling. Beats having to bring a big pump in your check in bag any day.

Been riding 11 years. Zero road punctures for 10 years. Iā€™ve had my fair share this year and have already lost count. Signs my bike telling me to retire orā€¦sheā€™s angry at me and I should get a new girlfriend? :laughing:

You can get these from rockbros on Ali express for about half the price. All the other western branded ones are about the same price as the one in the link. They all seem to have pretty much the same gubbins inside them, and a few friends say theyā€™re ok.

Iā€™ve not used one as Iā€™m happy with my pump and I donā€™t want any more battery powered stuff to have to think about.
