I saw lots of eagles or eagle looking birds over Wanban bridge the other day. I wonder what they were.

For the love of dog can someone tell me what bird this is? Seen at the Botanical Gardens but i’m guessing exotic as in some old codger’s released it in the park.
It would appear to be a white-rumped shama. It’s native to India and Southeast Asia, and is probably an escaped pet.

That seems to be the main reason they’re kept as pets. Beautiful bird though.

Their numbers seem to be increasing.
