Chiayi County has a Wild Bird Society (as does every other county in Taiwan). All of these small local bird societies fall under the auspices of the larger Wild Bird Federation of Taiwan which boasts more than 100,000 members. Membership in the Federation costs NT$1200 per year.

I found this information. However I don’t know how to reach this WBF? Any ideas?

This is not the most direct way, but you could send an email to the Taipei Times features editor, as the WBF has a regular column in there every week.
