Bitcoin, something worth investing in?

It’s most bizarre if the story is true. One guy was doing all the trading for Canada’s biggest exchange via his laptop? What would have happenened had he, say, lost his laptop? He had 300 million on there.

Nah, I reckon it was fraud.

He has multiple codes and passwords…He probably trusted nobody with the cold wallet codes.

From what I read in this article (https://www.finder.com.au/blockchain-analysis-quadrigacx-has-no-cold-wallet-bitcoin-reserves), the money might not even be there.

Maybe he found the secret of taking it with you when you go.

Well, he’s gone somewhere.

Death rate from Crohn’s disease?

Uploaded himself into The Cloud?

Dunno, but what a way to go. Death by poo, basically.

It certainly wasn’t smart paying a visit to India.

Effectively those coins will be lost in the block chain if they cannot be accessed.

Billions of bitcoin are already thought to be lost forever, from owners dying or forgetting their keys /digital wallets. for instance Satoshis accounts havent transacted in many years.

Anyone know a good way of buying from Taiwan? I can’t buy with my own countries bank account because all exchanges want a driver’s licence, passports not accepted. I can’t buy from maicoin because they need a phone bill and I use prepaid. I’ve tried to buy directly with a credit card, but my card companies won’t process the orders. I don’t want much, I just need a little on occasion.
