Bizarre virus attacks my gmail?

I just tried to enter gmail, and got this:

You (could have) gotten served!
dvaytw = username you entered
****** = password you entered No data was actually taken, just displayed to you :slight_smile: This is just a proof of concept of what a malicious user could do with this exploit.

Technology changes but man remains the same.

I’m a bit curious as to how you’re accessing Gmail. Are you using a web browser (and if so, which one?), or are you accessing it directly with an Email program (such as MS Outlook?).

A virus shouldn’t be able to attack Gmail itself, but it could attack your browser or email program. If it is attacking the Gmail servers, then Gmail has a problem, but I suspect that isn’t the case. Anyway, let us know.

cheers,
