Came across this ice cream place the other day which I thought deserves a bit more attention (it’s located roughly a 15-minute walk from Fulong beach. So one could argue that it’s a bit in the middle of nowhere 
):
Not cheap, but very delicious!
It’s run by a Canadian guy (not sure if he’s also on Forumosa) - according to him, all ice cream is homemade and uses real cream/milk.
They also deliver to 711 island-wide (haven’t tried that yet, but might try soon).
