The worker should call the immigrant help line at 0800-024-111, they should have Tagalog speakers who can help advise her about what to do.
It is not illegal to be pregnant, nor can it possibly be construed as a breach of contract. This is not the Philippines.
The employer and/or agent will attempt to tell you otherwise, of course.
Do what greves said. In theory at least, the worst that can happen is that the employer will decide to terminate the contract and send the worker home. Don’t put up with any bullshit, and good luck.

Were you trying to get pregnant? If so, congratulations.
Breaking contract should cost the same regardless of race. If not, then you have a real case for racial discrimination that you may be able to consult the CLA about.
But to put things into perspective, you have a new life on your hands. And that is worth infinitely more than whatever fee you are concerned about.
