I’m curious as if there is any Taiwanese etiquette about bringing home dates to your residing hotel? I’m living at a hotel currently paying month to month and I don’t want to piss off the staff and get kicked out since I will be here for a while.
I also just want to be classy about this, if I am being rude by doing this I’d rather just find other temporary accommodations. I know in the US it is usually not a problem but I wanted to make sure there isn’t an unspoken rule I am breaking in Taiwan.
Just ask someone at the front desk if you can have guests stay over night, or better yet, tell your guests, no they can’t stay the night. Just send them on their way and get some sleep. You look tired.
Just wanted to add that although there is no etiquette surrounding guests in your room, there is definitely etiquette surrounding sexy noises.
I only bring this up because I’ve experienced ignorant foreign neighbors in long-stay guesthouses who didn’t seem to care about making loud noises during sex, and that got them into a lot of trouble with neighbors/other long-term guests/management.
I think you can bring one or two girls any time you want, but you may be charged extra per night if they are staying. (I mean by the hotel, besides what ever you are paying the girl(s))
In the meantime, I bet you didn’t know that there is a shrine in Kaohsiung featuring a DLR god? In some circles, he’s known as the god of good times in port cities.
