Messages broadcasted by the Chinese Television System (CTS) news channel about war erupting between Taiwan and China alarmed the public on Wednesday morning (April 20) and were later confirmed to be published “by mistake.”
Is ‘brodcasted’ just a mistake- a minor one in this context!- or is ‘broadcasted’ an acceptable alternative to the past tense ‘broadcast’?
