Bubble tea flavor recommendation

This’ll be a kind of weird, niche question about bubble teas…

I’m trying to “match” a bubble tea flavor “type”, please excuse my unrefined palate explanation attempts…

Something that would go good with something like a pecan pie, so not fruity, more “down home” comfort flavor kind of bubble tea. My best idea so far is getting a brown sugar milk tea one since the flavor is heavier and creamier, but wondering if I can make it more interesting. Truth be told I’d like to drink a PSL (pumpkin spice latte) but not the right time/place.

Any flavors that could match that?

Nearby me there is Macu, 50lan, and Xing Fu Tang.

Does the drink in question actually have to have tea?

If not, I have some recommendations

If so, then I love me some Ice Cream Bubble Milk Tea from 50Lan or 清心

Nope, actually doesn’t even have to have bubbles (though I would prefer bubbles). A PSL (with bubbles) would be, like, totally perfect.

Is that a flavor or do they just scoop some ice cream into milk tea?

Both an official flavour and as simple as described.

Maçu’s grapefruit offerings are great. Especially with yoghurt.

If it’s artificial flavoring, it could fit the bill…

I like Macu’s fruit stuff in general (if you haven’t tried their Kiwi one, it is amazing) but it wouldn’t “pair well” as a heavier “comfort drink” I’m looking for.

Ovaltine? Maçu sells that too.

Chocolate is a big nyet for me. If they had a white chocolate version I would be all over that.

I like a nice dram of Monkey Shoulder with my pecan pie. Very smooth!

I would think Macha flavored bubble tea would go well with pecan pie. Tieguanyin bubble tea should also go pretty well.
