Bucket List Tourism

I used to have a lot more places I really wanted to see, bucket list stuff— the most complicated one was seeing a ball game at every MLB park in the US and Toronto (check!). Did a good handful, but I live here now so that’s probably not gonna happen.

I like the idea of a specific place/experience like Kyoto where we were in September — wanted to see the mountain shrine in the morning before the crowds.

But these days I find myself not wanting to do all that much. I’ve seen a lot and been around a lot. Stonehenge to Komodo Island, Sipadan to the Grand Canyon, Hokkaido to Route 66.

I’d like to go to Nepal. I have good friends and their family is there and it would be cool— but no specific thing I’d want to do tho—

Then there’s Nazare, Portugal where you can see the giant waves and the incredible surfers who ride them. I’d like to see that.

So, what’s on your bucket list?

Nepal is great, I did the Annapurna circuit around and it was amazing.

On foot or in a car? Is this a hike?

Is a hike, I did the full hike including the highest lake in 23 days.
Is better than doing a base camp because is a circuit and you don’t need to walk back. At that time wasn’t crowded but not sure now. It’s seems like now is a shorter trek :disappointed_relieved:

Me too— but to fish.

Is that what they’re calling it these days?

Sir, would you sully my bucket list thread?!?!
