I have a nice gig teaching an engineer.
He has a pretty big vocabulary and we have a great mutual learning relationship.

Despite his big vocabulary he needs help listening and understanding at normal conversation speeds and he does make grammatical errors that I think would go away with practice.
He helps design products for the American market and deals with factories in Taiwan and China.
his boss is English speaking in America and watts to improve his skills at participating in meetings with the American sales staff and other colleagues.
The trick is to find a good general business English book that is not too simple or insulting.
I really don’t live anywhere near a bookstore and will have to make a special trip into the city. As I normally teach children I’m not sure what to look for in a book. Any time-saving suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you.
