Hi everyone just wondering if anyone knows any good bookstores where one can buy some textbooks to learn/study chinese?
I’m not taking classes at the moment and don’t really plan on it. Been studying a lot lately and have some taiwanese friends who i can practice with but looking to get more into grammar/more advanced vocab.
if you live in Taipei, go to NTNU’s bookstore on Ho-ping E. Rd. near the Shih-Ta Rd. traffic light.
That bookstore should have all the Chinese-level textbooks used at NTNU’s Mandarin Training Center. Ask for where 語言中心書店 is.
If you are in Hsinchu, I know NTHU bookstore has some options.
Lucky is popular near Shida. But Eslite has huge variety.

the eslite stores generally have most of the usual suspects. their flagship store near 101 has a lot of books but their other stores have most of them too. the main two series you will find here are practical audio visual chinese and a course in contemporary chinese.
