I’m going to california for a week, but i need to spend maybe 2 days in chicago…would you guys suggest that i buy the Cali -> Chicago round trip ticket separately, maybe online or something?

Buying plane tickets is always better when not buying in Taiwan.
Which downtown are you talking when asking for an agency?
Oh and congrats on going to Chi-Town! I am from there and its at least the third or fourth best city in the state of Illinois!
