mmmm -cheese… The Wensleydale Cheese Company wensleydale.co.uk/ has some really “cracking” Wallace and Grommet Cheeses.
Seriously… Holiday Time is here and my mailbox gets inundated with Hickory Farms and others that offer baskets of Cheeses, cooked sausage /beef sticks and crackers. Many of the vendors ship worldwide. So, what are the rules
Would not recommend to buy from overseas, meat products get stopped anyway and freshness might not be guaranteed. Jasons at the 101 and Takachimaya in Tianmu as as city super in the Far Eastern Mall do gift baskets with entirely imported produce.
I was checking the US Postal Service website on restrictions for shipping things to Taiwan, and meat products aren’t listed, so maybe it’s OK to order those? Here’s the link: pe.usps.gov/text/imm/immicl/immicltz_001.html Why on earth can’t you ship sweeteners? Because it looks like drugs? Huh? I want my Splenda!
Does anyone have a link to a Taiwan website (in English) that will show what they will not allow into the country, whether through the post or carried in by a visitor? I have a friend coming in January, and I’d like him to bring me some stuff.
