Can school issue work permit?

Hi

I would like to know if the CLA or any pther government agency maintains a list of schools that can apply for work permits, and is said list accessible?
If any list not generally public, is it possible to call the CLA to ask if a school can get a work permit?
I just talked to a school that said they would give me part-time summer work, then apply for a work permit in September if they wanted me to go full-time.
Something smells there…

A search on the buxiban association site would tell you if the school meets a few of the more basic criteria for getting a work permit. However, there is more to it than having the right number of classes registered and having a licence. Way more to it.
