Can schools blacklist both of my passports? Nightmare of a school

Currently working in a private school under my taiwanese passport. My contract with this school does not complete until July. I have given them a notice that i plan to quit but they said if i do so, they will report my name to MOE and blacklist me.

I am curious if a school does this, will only my taiwanese information be blacklisted or my american passport as well?

And if i do quit with notice, can they actually still report me?

What city or county do you work in?

Edit: new taipei city tucheng

Short of sending me your contract to review, do this:

Ok. Go to the Taipei City Hall. Look for their labour affairs office. Bring your contract with you. For an employer this petty, they might also have illegal provisions in your contract which might make it invalid. Tell them what is going on and see what your rights are.

It’s free.

Thank you very much Marco.

Do you know exactly what violation has to be made on emplyees side to be blacklisted ?

I’ve heard of it but I don’t think being ‘blacklisted’ is really a thing. I think it’s an empty threat and I would go to the labour affairs office.

Even if there is a blacklist, what will that stop you doing?

There seems to be quite some discussion whether said blacklist actually exists or not:

No such thing as a blacklist than can ban your passports
