I dunno if they quote on that basis, but I wonder if anyone knows what the “typical” range is, say Main-dealer to back street blackhand?
Anything from $200 USD per hour to a six pack of beer.
In Taiwan? About $750 to $1000 an hour is what I budget.
An oil change is 6liters of oil and 30 minutes for my car. So with oil, filter and consumables I budget $1500.
I never go to a dealer so can’t comment on their prices.

That rate is half the lowest UK rate quoted, which should piss them of a bit.
