Not only cat poop parasite but other parasites.
I never thought I would connect those three words together.
Do not blame the cats. Once more, it is a parasite transmitted in developed countries from manipulation of raw meat with infected hands.
In the US, I blame it on lax food safety in massive production facilities, terrible access to health services by the majority of the population, no investment in public works such as water purification facilities, and general cost cutting practices which promote pollution. Oh and climate deniers. Maybe a bit of overuse of Clorox and chemicals creating super bugs, a la insecticide resistant roaches.
Example: you already have deadly bacteria in lakes. People and pets swim there and die. Now, water is carried downstream, filters into damaged pipes or is used as is on unsuitable pipes or irrigates crops.
