Was out this weekend having a full father/daughter playtime. Biking, kite, flying and some general nature looking in what is normally a nightmare naturally haha.
This type of thing is common. I don’t condone the other grandpa’s keeping the neocardinia and whatever fish those are as they clearly aren’t taking good care of them. On the other it’s good to see kids going outside and seeing nature, as depressing as the following scene may be lol.
Good times, and with social issues (in this case environmental) it creates opportunities to talk with kids, ask them their feeling about the garbage and dead animals everywhere. Great eye opening experiences all around 
Another fun activity that can be done at the same time is with plants. My kiddo likes to play with various plants. Some in Taiwan are quite cool, like this one! A digital beer to anyone that knows the plant, they hold a special surprise inside their fruit which is really quite cool!! Hint: it’s an invasive species.
