Good thing they had cell coverage. They were not hardened hikers it seems.

Its easy to get lost in TW mountains, even smaller ones.

Genuniely don’t know what they mean here. They mean 2 white people born in Canada and brought up the in Philippines? or do they mean Filipino Canadians? Why not just say Canadians?!

Why not just say people? I mean, really, they never specify that the crazy knife wielding student on the MRT is Taiwanese.

I always lose cell coverage in the mountains here, even (or because?) with a Samsung Note 2. :frowning:
