Challenge from Iraq

I am so dismayed to see the nightly challenges, especially tonight, from the iraq so-called leadership.
Inviting Rumsfeld to a duel on the streets, WTF. I am about the biggest pacifist that the U.S. has to offer. But, come on, when some little wimp on the schoolyard challenges me - sorry - my libido says go for it. Win lose or draw. Somebody is going to get hurt.
The U.S. has been working overtime to get this fiasco under control, and as soon as the first step is taken to change direction, some yahoo, challenges the U.S. to a fight. OK. Take a look at the amory possible if the U.S. gets pissed. A glass field would all that would be left.
Ya, I know, not politically possible, but those challeging individuals better make certain that they know what they are talking about. History may show them sadly mistaken of resolve and tempermant. Dresdan, Germany might be a good example.
For those who don’t recall the carpet bombing of Dresdan, with no strategic value, may recall the U.S. objective was to, Get their attention!
My opinions of the ability of the U.S. to actually win a war are probably best left unsaid. However, when our, or your troops, are constrained by the inability to strike becuase of collateral casualties, we/you are just a few days away from losing the battle. If someone bombs my home and hurts my family, trust me, I don’t give a damn who is on the receiving end - but trust me - it’s going to hurt - ALOT!

um… yeh, but the U.S. started the war remember? Not exactly setting a good example for world leadership now is it?
