Chance to stay in Taiwan after divorce?

Hello! i have lived in taiwan for 2.5 years. i have been married to a taiwanese woman for a little over 2 years. from my side that won’t last long.
my question … do I have a chance to stay in Taiwan after the divorce? i work with my still wife on the street market…. with qualification is not much.

You will be able to naturalize as a Taiwanese citizen after 3 years of marriage then you can get divorced and stay forever…

What is your country of original citizenship?

Australian so i can resume citizenship pretty easily. But if the OP sole goal is to stay in Taiwan then giving up their original citizenship might be worth it

OK but that’s not a judgement I can make.
His post says “does he have a chance” the answer is “yes, if you naturalize” whether he wants to do that or not is up him.

It’s a public forum, people aren’t privy to peoples private lives or decisions, citizenships held, personal desires, etc…

I was simply answering his question. He can make his own choice.
