change JFRV to APRC or Citizenship requirements?

Hi,
I read somewhere online that 5 years after receiving JFRV due to marriage to a Taiwanese spouse foreigners can apply for an APRC, with no need to count the minimum 183 days/year being in Taiwan for five Consecutive years? In other words, is the counting for JFRV (Marriage Based ARC) change to APRC is only related to number of years past the marriage registration no matter if one was traveling out of Taiwan on and off so many times for business trips and could not fill the min 183 days requirement.

For a spouse of a citizen, the 5 years with the minimum 183days/year do not need to be consecutive, if the spouse has legally resided in Taiwan for ten years.

FYI
“Applying for an APRC: foreign nations who has legally and continuously resided in the State for five years and has stayed for more than one hundred and eighty-three days each year, or the alien spouse and/or children of a national with valid household registration in the Taiwan Area who have legally resided in the State for ten years, during which period the spouse and/or children have physically resided in the State for more than one hundred and eighty-three days each year for at least five years. An application for APRC pursuant to above shall be submitted within two years after the period of stay and residence meets the requirement.”

Highly appreciated,Thank you!
