Already there are three or four sizable chips off the paint finish of my TCR. I can see flat grey color underneath so i am guessing it is down to undercoat not the bare metal/alloy. Is there any inexpensive way to treat these areas (3-5mm).? It doesn’t need to look perfect, I just want to protect the paintjob.
I use clear nail polish hard coat.
most of the colored nail enamels are too soft and tend to fall off or flake off, but you can color match and then hard coat.

(i guess with aluminium or carbon frames the problems of paint chipping are only cosmetic)
I put Weetbix stickers over my chips just yesterday. Looks real pro. I have a Bianchi so its a bit tough to find the Celeste color.
