This just started occurring a week or so ago. When I visit this website, yahoo mail and a few others, a message bar appears across the top of my screen saying an “an additional plug is required to display some elements on this page”. I click on the install and I continue my work. Even in the same session, when I return to the page, the message comes up again.
Also, when i don’t install the plug in, even in a new session, the page seems to behave normally. It looks like it doesn’t make any difference.
This occurs on both my computers.
Windows xp Chinese and Window 7 Chinese/running English language pack. I have the latest Chrome 15.0.874.106 m
Edit- I find by clicking on the “problems installing” button that this plugin is related to Flash. It gave me two links to manual download and install. One for the media player, the other for the browser. I followed the procedure and there was still no effect.
