I checked my access logs of my webserver in the US and noticed the following two IP’s:
According to my internet connection 220.127.116.11 was my local IP. But whats 18.104.22.168?
$ host 22.214.171.124
241.192.216.61.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer 61-216-192-241.dynamic.hinet.net
$ host 126.96.36.199
188.8.131.52.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer tp-s2-c108-19.router.hinet.net.
Obviously Chunghwa is using transparent proxys to “speed up” things. Lets hope they don’t do to much logging in the same time.
